***Update - Thanks SOOOO much to Rob, Jon, Derrick, David and Bret for ALL your help last night sheetrocking. They finished the WHOLE ceiling! And thanks to Melissa and Daniela for renting your husbands out for the night. They were SO much help!


The first day....

Last Friday we were SOO excited to get moving into our new house. It is gorgeous, and we thought it was an easy cosmetic paint and carpet kind of job.....that was until we turned on the water....

8 PIPES BUSTED in my kitchen!! My kitchen was a swimming pool and the water was pouring out of the ceiling like a hose. Ali had an awesome plumber friend who came and put in a whole days work fixing all those busted pipes. Jon, Derrick, David , Ali , Bret and Shelly all spent the day helping us out and we REALLY appreciate it. This is what my kitchen looked like on Friday morning....

Here's a pic of the first pipe that busted. We thought that this was the worst of our problems...then the pipes just kept on busting...

Then my kitchen turned into this....STILL not the end of all the problems...

This is the final product....ALL the sheetrock in the kitchen had to go.

So, if anyone has some time and want to come sheetrock Monday night, we'll be there!

Wish us luck, I think we're gonna need it.
