These are a few of my favorite things:

1- Alice wakes up yelling "Dad-i-o" or "Dadda" in the morning and is genuinely surprised if I am ever the one to get her up instead of Dad.

2- Alice tells me in a very grown-up voice to "come-on", and cups her hand to me whenever she needs me to go someplace with her.

3- She now says "Please and Thank You". (I am SOO proud!)

4- As we drive down the big hill every morning, Alice somehow picked-up how to say "WEE!" it makes every morning seem like a roller coaster ride.

5- She sings the ABC's to me in the car, emphasizing the letter D by a very loud and dramatic "D!!!!". And then she starts over again...we're still working on E-Z.

6- She squishes my cheeks and bangs my head with her forehead as "loves".

7- She casually tells me "bye" when we get to Diane's house and then tells me the names of all her friends at school. She knows Abby and Jaxton and the rest are her "buddies".

8- She likes to run away from me in public places while laughing an evil laugh that I can only guess she got from me. Though, Nate can have an evil laugh every now and then.

9- She LOVES her Elmo, Dora and now Diego. She asks for it every time she can see a T.V.

10- Lately she wants me to sing her to sleep, and since its the only time she will let me just sit and cuddle and kiss her, I do it WILLINGLY! Her favorites: ANYTHING Barry Manilow.

I just LOVE being a Mom.
