My Spoken Lullaby

I rock them to sleep with spoken lullabies of love. Love that never fails and endures through time. The love of their mother who prays to be enough. The love of Grandparents in heaven who are always near. And the greatest Love of all. The Love that heals broken hearts and dreams. The Love that soothes fears and promises a life complete. The Love that brings light to the dark and joy to the sad. Their lullaby is a story of children loved so deeply on both sides of the veil.

This happened awhile ago, but I forgot to document it, so heeeeeerrrreee's ALICE!

This is actually not a Johnny Carson intro, but Alice's first haircut! Why cut such darling hair? Well, the truth is, it was getting a bit mullet-ish. Super cute-curly party in the back and straight business in the front.

Here is Alice being so brave and bending her head for the nice lady....

She was looking to me for emotional support. I answered with taking a picture and a "atta-girl!"

Here she was telling the nice lady that we should like BIG hair. Hair that comes out to here!

And the "After" pic. My little Beebo is ALL growed up.
