Brett, our favoritist friend, is leaving to Canada and Scotland. We have spent the last four years enjoying Brett's home-cooking (see pic), his ghost stories, his rapier wit, his love of babies, his tolerance of my early bedtime, his love of board games, his mad awesome photog skills....the list could go on and on.
Dear Brett, you will be greatly missed. I am crying right now...for real, crying.

So sad, I know. I miss you guys already! But to be fair, it was almost 7 pm when you posted this - those could easily have been Raynes Tired Tears...
I WILL miss you guys a lot, though! What will I do with my thursdays? Who will I watch Season 3 of Dexter with, or Season 4 of 30 Rock, or learn to cook with, or obey unconditionally! So many holes to fill (Nate, I wrote that part for you...), and nobody that could possibly fill them as well!
Looks like I'll be taking this order of life on the side...and with a extra helping...of sorrow!
I have to say I have never seen so many inside jokes written in such a short space! That was brilliant...you are a delight...a de-light....
I must say that I haven't had the opportunity to be around Brett that much, but I thoroughly enjoyed his company whenever we were! I have the most beautiful family portrait because of him and I think of him whenever I look at it!
Brett...good luck in whatever you do. If you are going to Scotland, you will get a list of admirerers from all over the world...let us be the first resident Mexicans to wish you well and be at the top of your list of admirerers!!!
Thanks guys! Stef, all I can say is - No, you are. Ken and Lauretta, it was great spending time with you guys in Mexico, and one of the highlights of my time here in Utah getting to know Nate. Thanks for your son, the kind words, and well wishes. I echo those sentiments right back to you!
