My Spoken Lullaby

I rock them to sleep with spoken lullabies of love. Love that never fails and endures through time. The love of their mother who prays to be enough. The love of Grandparents in heaven who are always near. And the greatest Love of all. The Love that heals broken hearts and dreams. The Love that soothes fears and promises a life complete. The Love that brings light to the dark and joy to the sad. Their lullaby is a story of children loved so deeply on both sides of the veil.

It's ALL About The CAKE!

Alice was super excited for her birthday cake this year. I don't know why. Maybe because Elmo always talks about birthday cakes, oh that Elmo.

Alice wanted a Pinkalicious cake (Thanks Danielle for the book!), with princess sprinkles. Well, all her little dreams came true. And, the next morning she woke up saying that she had now turned pink, just like in the book. I love that little imagination.
