Alice got TONS of gifts from her friends. Below is Maddie showing Alice how to properly use the toy she gave her. Alice is listening intently, while Savanah dances and Alex looks annoys.
I rock them to sleep with spoken lullabies of love. Love that never fails and endures through time. The love of their mother who prays to be enough. The love of Grandparents in heaven who are always near. And the greatest Love of all. The Love that heals broken hearts and dreams. The Love that soothes fears and promises a life complete. The Love that brings light to the dark and joy to the sad. Their lullaby is a story of children loved so deeply on both sides of the veil.

Alice's 1 year Birthday Party!! We really had the BEST time! Thanks to everyone for the fun gifts and for spoiling Alice rotten.

Here is Alice in her birthday dress that I LOVE, even though I realize she looks like she should be 70 years old, living in Florida and drinking margarita's while she fund raises.
Alice had her cake and ATE IT TOO!
Here she is going for the cake full force...her hands were getting in the way, so she just opened trowel and shoveled it in.
OH MY GOSH!! LOOK AT HER CUTENESS! Sometimes she is so cute I can't even stand it and every fiber of my being needs to kiss attack her. She is my kissing slave.
She was totally posing here with the lips pouted...she knows she's cute...she knows it...

Sooooo Cute!! Jackie and I were reading your post and the comment on Alice's dress made us both laugh so hard. She is beautiful and has great parents.
I agree! She is so cute and I love to kiss her. Love, Mom
That last picture is priceless. It belongs on an american express ad. You could write the copy.
It would say something like this:
my life, my messy baby, my card...
its poignant in its simplicity.
You are so funny, I was totally laughing at the dress comment too. I loved the letter so sweet aren't kids seriously the most amazing thing in the world. I think no one really knows true love until they have a child.
