1 - My Hubby is gone for like the next year...(or three weeks-ish - 10 days in Paris, 7 days in the Cayman islands....TOUGH job, TOUGH job).
2- My good friend for years now, Kelsey Hartley, is moving to Portland...SAD!! I will miss your guts!
3- I have a black eye that Kelsey gave me. (see pic below). For her small size, Kelsey packs quite the punch.
4- My new BFF forever (its redundant so its funny...get it...get it?) Kristin Smith is in Japan for a year now.
5- My baby got 100 splinters in her leg by crawling on our old deck that obviously needs refinishing.
Reasons I am happy!
1- The hubby got me and Alice some cute clothes in Paris! And my adorable sister Shelley comes and sleeps at my house so I don't get nightmares.
2- Kelsey gave me her Lava Lamp to remember her by.
3- My black eye is almost healed.
4- Kristin will keep in touch via Facebook.
5- There are about a million other reasons I am happy, like: My Dad and my other BFF's forever the Wilsons, are taking time out of their days to come and fix my old Swamp cooler, so Alice and I don't suffocate in heat....I am finally in my new house....I like my new Ward....I like Caffeine....there are too many other reasons to count.
6 - My baby sings songs to me in the car that sound like this:
Haaapppy baby...haaaaappy baby....doodaadaaa....mmmmoooommm.....WOW!
Life is good.

I am bummed you didn't take your husband's leave of absence to come visit me!!! We went to the beach today, you could've come with. I expect you to at least THINK about coming to see me the next time you're alone.

Today at the doctor's I told him that Chance wasn't doing all the things Alice was and he just laughed and said 99 percent of the kids aren't doing all the things Alice is at this age. So a total compliment...to you! :) Love you!
