Alice and Chance decided they wanted to have their first dentist appointment together. "Strength in numbers", they told me and Alison.
Alice went first. Savannah is being caring and looking on in the background as Alice inspects the tools.
Here I am telling Alice that it will only hurt if she moves....(I am so funny).
She was a PRO! But, this did not last. When she saw the dentist she screamed bloody murder.
Here is Chance. He was not too excited about the whole process. Poor little guy! But the picture is too cute for words.
Here is Alison being a supportive mother and giving Chance hugs.
But he did it! ¡lo hicimos!... as Dora would sing it.
As you can see, all the kids survived, so we went to Taco Amigo for lunch.
Savannah took some awesome pictures to commemorate our trip. This one she was practicing her perspective skills. Chance is up close, while the fast food guy in the background is far away.

Alice looks so cute in green! The first trip to the dentist is always more scary for me than my kids:) Um....and after reading this last night I had to go to Taco Amigo for dinner. YUM!!
Stef,I took Maura to the dentist today to have her first cavity filled...it was awful! Not for her so much, she was fine. I was a mess. I made Rand go back with her because I was so scared she would cry and then I would cry. Being a mom is so stressful! I wish they would have offered me the laughing gas.
Aww dentists can be freaky man! I remember my first dentist trip as if it were yesterday..... the dentist threatened to cut my thumb off with an ax if i didn't stop sucking my thumb..... yeah he was into the whole tough love thing. it worked though-- that next day i never sucked my thumb again...i did start wetting the bed however.... :)
Thank you for saving the memories for me. I like it when we can combine historical moment and you can do all the work to encapsulate them. Great pics (Savannah was very proud of herself when I showed them to her) Chancelor just yelled "Ali, Ali, Ali" when I showed him the post. He loves her.
Melanee - we (the sisters) have gotten together and decided to NOT be your friend until you have a kid...sorry, that's the way the cookie crumbles!
Brandy - LOVE the Taco Amigo...I think we sluffed there a couple times in High School...good times...
Rachel - Can't they give us the laughing gas for every day things too, like diaper changing? I need it now a I gag my way through it EVERY TIME.
Beatrice - I laughed out loud at this one...I think I wet the bed too...Oh, how I miss you!
Ali- Alice LOVES Chance and Savannah too. Now we have all the time in the world to hang out!
